Pakistan ranked 91st out of 133 economies in the 2024 Global Innovation Index (GII). The GII ranks economies based on their innovation capabilities and results. Pakistan (91st) and Uzbekistan remain overperformers for a third consecutive year. Pakistan also positions itself among the economies that have shown the most significant ascent in the GII over the past five years.
